Cozy Curves Quilt Pattern

Cozy Curves Quilt Pattern

It's finally here! The Cozy Curves Quilt Pattern is such a fun beautiful pattern to make. It comes in 3 sizes (crib, small throw and large throw) and can be made with a wide variety of patterned or solid fabrics. The blocks are made entirely of curves- yes curves! If you're nervous about giving them a go, have no fear. In this pattern, I will walk you step-by-step through the process and have extensive diagrams, tips, and videos to help you succeed. This pattern is listed as intermediate because of the curves, but don't let that steer you away- most of my pattern testers have never sewn curves before this pattern and they made amazing quilts! I made 2 versions of this quilt all from my stash and am excited to share them with you below!

Quilt # 1- The Cover Quilt!

This quilt was created from a mix of solid and print fabrics from my stash and is the small throw size, finishing at 60 x 60". This quilt is also available as one of two kits from Piece Fabric Co.

I love how soft, yet bold this combination of colors is and how the final quilt turned out. I quilted this using my Juki 2010q on a quilt frame and did a mirrored loop-de-loop design. The binding is done by machine.

Quilt # 2- The Vintage Vibes Version!

This quilt was created from a mix of solid and print fabrics from my stash, including a vintage floral bedsheet that I just LOVE!  This quilt is the small throw size, finishing at 60 x 60".

I love how soft this combination of colors feels. I quilted this using my Juki 2010q on a quilt frame and did a freehand clamshell/scallop design. The binding is done by machine and I have a tutorial on rounded corner binding included below!

Quilt # 2- Baby Version!

This quilt was created from a variety of print fabrics and is complete with sweet fussy cut animals!  This quilt is the crib size, finishing at 48 x 48".

I love how fun this forest animal fabric and striped binding make the quilt feel. I quilted this using my Juki 2010q with my walking foot and quilted a 3 leaf clover design in all 4 corners. The binding is done by machine and I have a tutorial on rounded corner binding included below!

Curved Corner Machine Binding Tutorial

This tutorial will show you how to machine bind quilts with curved corners for a soft, elegant look and beautiful finish! The video will take you through making double fold binding, attaching the binding to the back of the quilt first, then topstitching on the front for a clean, professional finish. See the full tutorial here with extended binding details!

These quilts are some of my favorites and I adore each one's unique personality. I hope you'll find inspiration to make your own version of this Cozy Curves pattern and share your creations on social media so I can see what you made!
